Winter - Half at the Hamptons Half-Marathon

Post -RACE Update

Thanks to everyone that participated or volunteered yesterday in the annual Half at the Hamptons.

A spectacular weather day for February and almost perfect day for running. What a treat to get out of the cold, wind and snow. Overall 1,130 finishers and a great feast after! The course was almost ice free and no large puddles! The course run was actually the official course, we managed to shovel out the area in the first mile - did you see the big orange smile on the snowbank! See you at our next race March 8th. THANK YOU for your generous donations to the Hampton Food Pantries!

Don't Forget to bring a few food items!

Help us fill the local Food Pantries!

For 2014, we are asking all runners to consider bringing in two food items from the list on the right. LOCO Sports has teamed up with the local Hampton Area Rotary to fill the shelves of the local food pantries.

FREE RUNNING SOCKS: LOCO will be donating running socks to everyone that brings in a contribution and commit to contributing whatever is needed to fill the pantries!

Food Pantries supported: The First Bapist Church, The First Congregational Church, The Methodist Church, St. Vincent De Paul at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, the Salvation Army and the Town of Hampton Pantry
