LOCO
Sports was founded in New Hampshire in 2003 by runners just like
you who believed that loyal core runners deserved a company truly
dedicated to the sport of running and to the running community.
LOCO is a company owned by runners who are committed to the sport
of running and giving back to the running community.
LOCO actually started out as a running shoe company. We were looking to create a business that allowed us to connect with the running community and our background led us to running shoes. Our first models were introduced in 2004 and we quickly garnered a significant following from running enthusiasts and racers alike. As the company grew our shoes were offered at over 20 running specialty retailers and direct marketed at over 100 events a year.
In 2007, as a sideline to promote the LOCO shoe brand, we put on our first race and we had a blast! Over the years LOCO has added races while, due to production challenges, we wound down the shoe operation. We are now one of the premier running event managers in the Northeast and continue to add to our many successful events. But one thing hasn't changed - we still get to connect with the running community every day and we are very grateful for that.

Our Community Commitment
Our commitment is to give back to the running community: LOCO
will support the running community in spirit and with specific
programs aimed at giving back to the sport. We will support local
school teams, work directly with local running clubs, teams and
non-profit causes.
