Walkers: Yes Walkers are welcome

Pets: Please no dogs on the course.

T-Shirts - All Pre-registered participants.

Baby Strollers: Please start at the back of the pack and let runners have the right of way.

Headphones: Please do not wear headphones.

Course: See map.

Principio - START: 10:00 AM sharp on Sunday May 1, 2011. Report to the starting line by 9:50.

Fija'- Finish Party: After the race, come join us for the celebration! Margaritas -

Authentic Mexican Cuisine & signature Margaritas beverage.

RACE NUMBER AND T-SHIRT PICK UP: Sunday May 1 - 8-9:50 AM at Margaritas (Start and finish of the race)

PARKING: FREE - at Margaritas and other locations to be announced.

RESTROOMS:Inside bathrooms and Portolets available at start area. No changing facilities; come dressed to run.

POST RACE: Margaritas Beverage - GREAT Authentic Mexican Fiesta food and awards presentation following the race at the finish.


Celebración

Cinco de mayo (Spanish for "5th of May") is a regional holiday in Mexico, primarily celebrated in the state of Puebla, with limited or no significance nationwide.

The holiday commemorates an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride.
